Yoga Classes
Discover Yoga Classes to Reduce Trauma Symptoms and Enhance Healing.

 Hello, My name is Kirsten, I am a PACFA Registered Clinical Counsellor and a Yoga Teacher.

 

I hold a Bachelor of Counselling and an Advanced Diploma of Biomedical Yoga, Meditation and Lifestyle Medicine. Which is a Yoga and Meditation Teacher Training of 500Hrs.  I have offered Yoga, Meditation and Breath work to my counselling clients for around 6 years, and now I am introducing Yoga Classes as an offering at Conversations in Nature for those who do not wish/need to attend counselling but enjoy the therapeutic benefits that Yoga offers. I have been practicing Yoga for at least 12-15 years and believe it has been a wonderful contributor to my healing and personal growth. So I hope you find it helpful too. 

As a Registered Clinical Counsellor who specialises in Trauma all classes will be Trauma Informed. If you are at the start of your healing from trauma journey you may also want to consider Private Counselling Yoga Sessions.  All Classes will provide options and it is up to each individual to be aware of how they are feeling in the moment, and if a pose is right for them in that moment. I will offer guidance and reminders throughout each class and there is always the invitation to move to a pose that you find more comfortable at any point. An important part of healing from Trauma is connecting to your felt sense and attending to your discomfort with love and compassion.

A 15 minute Connection Call is available for you to share your situation and discuss ways in which we may be able to work together. It is important that you feel comfortable and safe to start your counselling, so this call is designed to answer your questions and for you to learn a little bit more about me, to make sure that you and I both feel we would be a good fit for you to reach your navigate your challenges.
